"A Complete Guide: How to Close a JazzCash Account"

To close your JazzCash account, follow these straightforward steps:

1. Withdraw or Transfer Funds:

Make sure to withdraw or transfer all funds from your JazzCash account to another account. If you're unable to do this, contact the helpline and request them to transfer the balance to your CNIC number after closing your account.

2. Call JazzCash Helpline:

If you're a Jazz customer, dial 4444.
For customers on other networks, dial 
021-111-124-444.

3. Talk to a Customer Care Representative:

Follow the instructions until you're connected to a JazzCash representative.
Provide your account information, including your CNIC and cell number, and request to close your account.

4. Verification and Closure:

The customer care agent will ask you a few verification questions, such as your mother's name,Date of birth and CNIC number.
Once all details are verified, the representative will proceed to close your JazzCash account.

Note: It may take 24 to 48 hours if your account balance is zero. You'll receive a confirmation message from JazzCash once the closure is complete.

5. For Level 2 Users:

Please visit the Mobilink Microfinance Bank with your original CNIC and a visible photocopy of the same. Your request will be received and processed by the bank, and it will take approximately 7 working days to close your JazzCash account.

6. For Deceased Jazz cash  Account 

To ensure the efficient handling of a deceased JazzCash account, l urge you to visit your nearest Mobilink Microfinance Bank and present the following required documents:

Documents Requirements

 a. Balance below 100 Rupees:

• Death certificate of the deceased.
• Family Registration Certificate (FRC).
• CNIC (Identity Card) of the deceased.
• CNIC (Identity Card) of the heirs.

   b. Balance from 100 to Rs. 100,000:

• Indemnity bond on stamp paper worth Rs. 200 from legal heirs.
• Death certificate of the deceased.
• Family Registration Certificate (FRC).
• CNIC (Identity Card) of the deceased.
• CNIC (Identity Card) of the heirs.
• Two independent witnesses.

   c. Balance Above Rs. 100,000:

•  NADRA Succession certificate.
•  Death certificate of the deceased.
•  Family Registration Certificate (FRC).
•  CNIC (Identity Card) of the deceased.
•  CNIC (Identity Card) of the heirs.
•  Two independent witnesses.
