Mobilink Bank's remarkable journey under the stewardship of Ghazanfar Azzam has been nothing short of extraordinary. After 12 years of unparalleled growth and success, Ghazanfar Azzam has decided to step down as President and CEO, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and leadership in the Microfinance sector.

During his tenure, Mobilink Bank rose from being ranked number 10 in 2012 to becoming the top performer in every financial metric, outshining competitors across the board. The bank's outstanding performance in 2023, which saw it clinch prestigious awards such as Best Bank for Financial Inclusion 2023 by PBA and Best in Gender & Diversity & Digital by CFA Society, solidified its position as an industry leader.

Under Ghazanfar's guidance, Mobilink Bank underwent a rapid digital transformation, enhancing its financial stability, business resilience, and future readiness. This transformation not only propelled the bank to new heights but also made a positive social impact, further highlighting its commitment to excellence and inclusivity.

During his decade-long leadership, Mobilink Bank transformed into Pakistan's most successful hybrid MSME bank, offering a wide range of conventional and digital banking solutions to millions of customers while making a positive social impact.

The Board of Directors has appointed Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, the current COO, as the Interim CEO, subject to approval from the SBP. The board has also initiated the search for the next CEO who will continue to drive Mobilink Bank's mission forward and ensure its long-term success.
